Rubel Hossain is a Registered Nurse by profession and is currently working as a Lecturer at the College of Nursing, IUBAT. He completed his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the Grameen Caledonian College of Nursing and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from IUBAT.
Professional Experience
Rubel has worked in both teaching and clinical roles, including:
- Lecturer at IUBAT (since June 2022)
- Nursing Instructor at STS Nursing College
- Staff Nurse (Hematology, Pain, and Palliative) at Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital
- Teaching Assistant at IUBAT during his undergraduate studies
Courses:
He teaches courses such as Fundamentals of Nursing and Community Health Nursing at IUBAT. He also supervises undergraduate research projects and guides students in developing their skills in evidence-based nursing practices.
Research Interest/Publication:
Rubel’s research focuses on community health promotion, health education, disease prevention, public health, nursing, palliative care, and cancer care.
Community Contributions:
As a dedicated nurse, Rubel actively participates in street nursing, providing primary healthcare to vulnerable populations. His efforts include assessing vital signs and offering health education to promote health awareness and better care among underserved groups.
